He's so cute!
You know he is getting to be quite handsome. I don't think cute is apropriate anymore. You have a little man who is an absolute babe magnet! Maybe we should just say it, he is so HOT! Try to compete with this guy Jared!
This is Traci Lindsey, you probably don't remember me =). I've been friends with Amy and Cody forever and I think we met a couple times back in high school. I have a daughter with disabilities and so Amy told us about all the stuff you guys are going through and I thought I'd look at your blog. Maybe you guys have already gotten on this program but I thought I'd mention it because we were on it when we lived in AZ (we just moved to Ohio...). It's called CRS (Children's Rehabilitative Services). We LOVED it. There are some automatic qualifying conditions and CP is one of them. You should check out their website. CRS kind of acts like an insurance (always after your primary) and helps cover surgeries that have to do with the condition. They also pay for AFO's (leg braces) and wheelchairs when the time comes for you to need them (I hope it never does but just in case...). They offer PT's, OT's, Speech, Orthopedics, all sorts of stuff. ( I know you already have them that come to your house but this is in addition to what you get at home...). They're based out of St. Joseph's hospital in Phoenix so it's somewhat of a drive (only about 30 minutes with no traffic) but it's totally worth it. Anyways, I didn't know how else to get ahold of you other than posting this. Feel free to call or email me or go to my blog whenever you want. 480-277-1707, tmbr116@aol.com. My daughter Jordan just turned 3 and has spina bifida. She's paralyzed basically from the chest down so we've learned some about what you can do with medical stuff in the valley. We aren't pro's by a long shot but if you need anything at all let us know. Also, if you're needing a good therapist and want a recommendation on any of them (PT, OT, Speech, Early Intervention) just let me know and I"ll tell you who we used when we lived there. We had GREAT ones, as I'm sure you did too. Also if you need recommendations for other doctors like an eye doctor or anything like that let me know. Sorry for rambling =). I hope this is somewhat helpful =)
