Today Ryder's doing great...he had a few apnea spells, but they were not bad. Ryder weighs 2 lbs 13 oz. now! yay! he's finally gaining weight! He loves when I visit... when I talk, he always opens his eyes wide, and looks for mommy....so cute! We love that kid sooooo much!

So so so excited to hear how great he is doing! It is funny how much all little preemies look alike! I should send you a pic of Kadence and you can see what I mean.
I am not sure that you remember me but I am Chantel's Sister in-law Melissa. She married my brother Adam, she told me about you little Miracle, takes me back to when Nathaniel, (whom is almost nine years,) was born, it was such a scarey time, I was only 27 1/2 weeks, and I went into labor, they tried everything to stop it, but he was born more than 12 weeks early, he weighed 2 lbs and 4oz, it was a long hard road for those seven weeks he was in the NICU, but I know that the lord blessed him, and we were blessed to have such a sweet little spirit come into our lives, My prayers are with you and the road ahead. I have to say that these little preemies are such fighters for everything that they have to go through, I think that being able to be with Nathaniel as much as I could helped him thrive. You wouldn't even guess he was premature and had such a rough start, he is healthy, so smart,and full of life, I feel so blessed to have him apart of our lives. Nathaniel's name suits him well, Gift from God, he was difinitly that. We were blessed to have one more little boy about a year and a half ago, My pregnacy was very difficult but,it was worth everything to have my two sweet Boys. Melissa
